We All Have to Work Together.
The Faith Community
The faith community can be a powerful force for positive change and improvement in our city. Through their values of service, compassion, and community building, religious groups can address a wide range of social issues and contribute to the overall well-being of our community. We will call on our faith community to play a significant role in the work that lies ahead.
Non-Profits
The nonprofit community can play a significant role in improving our community by addressing various social, cultural, economic, and environmental issues. Nonprofits are often able to step in where government agencies and private businesses cannot or will not, due to funding constraints, bureaucracy, or lack of profit incentives. Our nonprofit community will answer the call!
Education Community
The education community can be a catalyst for positive change and improvement within our city. Through a combination of direct educational outcomes, community engagement, and partnerships with local stakeholders, the education community can enact broad-based improvements across many facets of our great city.
Chamber of Commerece
The Chamber of Commerce can play a pivotal role in improving a city by acting as a bridge between businesses, government, and the public. As an advocate for local businesses, the Chamber can initiate and support various activities aimed at economic development, community engagement, and overall community enhancement.
Local Government
Local governments play a pivotal role in shaping the quality of life within a city and have numerous tools at their disposal to foster improvement and address local issues. By working together, our local governments can make a real difference in the lives of its residents and create a better future for greater Memphis.

Memphis Police Department
The Memphis Police Department is vital to the health and welfare of our communities. They protect the peace and maintain law and order in our great city. But they need the community's help to do their job at the highest level. We need to define our role as a community more clearly and identify ways in which we all can be more helpful in reducing crime in our city.
